In recent years, with the improvement of the urban living standard and the increase of the workplace competition, jogging has been a new favorite of the people for physical exercise and is becoming popular in all the major cities in China. On Aug. 21st, Sports Center welcome more than 500 runners who make earnest efforts in promoting public welfare to jointly initiate the public jogging event of “Run for Love” of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SPDB) Dalian Branch.

       It is learnt that “Run for Love” is another upgrading of the charity public welfare project of SPDB in collaboration with “Migu Run APP” and each runner jogging for 5 km in the event will get one “love token”. When the accumulation of the “love tokens” of all runners reach 2000 (equivalent to 10000 km), SPDB will donate for the operation of one kid with strabismus. And the mileage covered by all the runners that day will be accumulated for the purpose of donation.    

       This event was sponsored by SPDB Dalian Branch and jointly organized by FM 105.7 Dalian Sports Radio and Dalian Sports Center. Before the commencement of the event, 40 young employees from SPDB presented a brilliant aerobics performance. 200 employees from SPDB Dalian Branch and 300 Fun Runners from Dalian Sports Radio in uniform began to run in the loop of the spacious and clean Sports Center with fresh air at the starting gun, and easily completed the jogging of 5 km. In the event, everyone was passionate and devoted, uploading the number of kilometers they had covered real-time with Migu Run APP, measuring the city distance with their feet and making contributions to charity with their sweat.   

       Via collaborating with all walks of life, spreading the philosophy of public welfare, promoting the activities of public welfare and holding events of public good, Sports Center keeps cultivating its brand image of social public welfare in people’s minds, and uses it to guide and create the social atmosphere of public welfare for all. This event has not only promoted the active and healthy living attitude, provided an opportunity for the runners to make friends, but also implemented the public welfare project, and expanded the impact and reputation of the brand of “Run for Love” in the citizens of the coastal city.
